Healthcare Solutions Ltd is a registered Home Care Agency with Bermuda Health Council who maintains the register of agencies and care providers and manages the required registration for the Health Insurance Department’s home care benefit.  As a registered Homecare Agency all caregivers are registered with the Bermuda Healthcare Council and if applicable the Bermuda Nursing Council.

Home Care Services

At the same time, we provide much-needed respite for family caregivers, reducing their risk of caregiver burnout.

Personal Care

If your loved one has advanced care needs, then personal care could be the right choice. Personal care includes basic caregiving duties of companion care, but it also helps with tasks such as grooming, dressing, bathing, and mobility. Personal care can also provide essential care to individuals with chronic conditions, such as Dementia, Diabetes, COPD, or Parkinson’s.

Transitional Care

When a family member has spent time in a nursing home, rehabilitation center, or hospital, and is preparing to return home, the discharge planning process is critical. Discharge planning takes place when the medical staff of the facility meets with the patient and their family to discuss what needs to happen at home to ensure the best outcome. At Healthcare Solutions we call this service Transitional (or Post-Hospitalization) Care. It can be tailored to any individual who needs temporary assistance, not just seniors.

Companion Care

For most seniors, companion care provides the support they need for a wide range of basic caregiving tasks, including light housekeeping, help with errands, and meal preparation. This makes it a perfect choice for anyone who needs assistance to live at home safely, but who does not require advanced assistance.
