Description of a class suitable for individuals with dementia.
SEATED CHAIR EXERCISES ONLINE
This class is performed seated on a chair with back support and is an excellent option for seniors who are frail, at risk of falling or have limited mobility. During each session we will move all the muscles and joints in the body to prevent stiffness, improve strength and blood circulation. We also incorporate coordination exercises and memory tasks to enhance the brain stimulation.
Requirements: Chair. Access to zoom.
This class is held:
Tuesdays 2:00pm – 2:45pm via zoom. (FREE for AAD members)
Thursdays 2:00pm – 2:45pm via zoom.
